This is your full day option for experiencing almost all Costa Rica has to offer in terms of adventure and education. Along with the zipline and hanging bridge tours, this day package also offers a glimpse into the lives of some of the tropics' smallest yet fascinating species. Nature has fine-tuned itself to evolve into some of the most exuberant and beautiful creatures your eyes will ever see.

After the zipline and hanging bridges you'll be brought to the Reptile Park where you'll find lizards, geckos, and snakes! There are 30 different species of reptiles and you'll see them up close and learn about their importance in this ecosystem. Since Monteverde is a colder area this display is in a controlled climate system.

You will also visit the Butterfly exhibit which is a must when visiting Costa Rica. The 50 different species on display here will give you a look into the life-cycle of this astonishing creature. If you enjoyed the flight of the butterfly you will be even more awe-inspired when you find yourself in the middle of 100 hummingbirds. The sound of their wings create a humming sound as they zip by you. When they stop just for a second to catch a glimpse you might be able to capture the moment on camera.

Probably the most accomplished display at Selvatura is the insect exhibit. Here the renowned Dr. Richard Whitten has thousands of insects making it the the largest insect display in the world. The name of the exhibit is "Jewels of the Rainforest". You will meet them in person and in their large screen cinema.

If your looking to get the most out of your day then this might be an option to enjoy adventure and learn! This tour also includes lunch.
