Have you ever been at one of those parties and somebody just takes the joke a little too far. Well, The Springs would be that guy if it was sitting at the table with every other hotel in the area. This is a jaw-dropping, monumental, monolith in the middle of the jungle with an insane view of the volcano. Who would of thought that you could pull off an infinite pool with no ocean? The Springs is simply one of a kind in all of Costa Rica and probably on a global level. Probably my favorite part about this hotel is the fact that it is completely isolated. I think they went a little over the top on the size of it considering it is like 50 times larger than any other hotel in the area but I guess if the owner Lee Banks had the coin to drop on a project like this, you just build what is in your head and like most constructions it ends up being twice the size. The type of structure I think cut down on it's eco-friendly counterparts you find in other parts of Costa Rica.

The hotel is a 7-Star if that even exists and it is very uniquely designed from the rooms, pools, and over-all layout of the hotel. It is set on the side of hill and most of the hotel is set in levels which makes it nice that there is an elevator. The Springs boast of having celebrities stay at the hotel and also hosting the show Bachelor which actually I have to say I think drops it a few points. One thing I will probably never understand, is how in the heck those delicate ladies from the Bachelor ever made the bumpy dirt road ride to the Resort?

All in all it is a beautiful place that if you want to splurge for a few days, then it is quite the spot.
